Max Holloway and Alex Pereira had scintillating performances at UFC 300, and Holloway bagged a $600K bonus. Even though Pereira did not win a bonus, he had a spectacular knockout victory against Jamahal Hill in the main event.

Holloway urged Joe Rogan to bring him back to his podcast after the victory. As such, Rogan brought Holloway for the latest episode. Interestingly, one of the things Holloway mentioned on the podcast was a hilarious picture of the UFC’s light heavyweight champion that made him look like a Marvel character.

Did you [Joe Rogan] see the picture of me and Alex [Pereira]...They face-swapped them...They put my face on Alex Pereira...He looked like Thanos!

Even more than the picture, Renato “Money” Moicano‘s reaction brought laughter to Holloway. The Hawaiian revealed Moicano’s hilarious response to Rogan, who also laughed, citing Moicano’s interesting ‘Money Moicano’ persona. After all, unlike Holloway, Moicano urged Rogan to be on his podcast rather than being on JRE.

Interestingly, Daniel Cormier compared Pereira to Thanos when he was on the podcast. Cormier’s reason was Pereira’s achievements in Glory and UFC, which he compared to Thanos collecting stones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Max Holloway compares Justin Gaethje’s leg kicks to former opponent

Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje won the Performance of the Night bonus at UFC 300. Even though he knocked out Gaethje, Holloway suffered serious damage to his legs due to Gaethje’s leg kicks. On JRE, Holloway joked that Gaethje’s legs are Vibranium-made.

Before the fight, Gaethje and Holloway were respectful towards each other. Moreover, the sentiment has not changed but only increased since the fight. Gaethje dropped Holloway in the fight, which the UFC did not count as a knockdown. On JRE, Holloway stated it was indeed a knockdown. Moreover, he even compared Gaethje’s leg kick to the kicks of one of his former opponents.

It [Justin Gaetje's leg kicks] reminds me of Yair's [Rodriguez] high kick, like me and Yair could be nose to nose, and a fu**ing head kick comes up. I'm like, 'Holy Sh*t'

Holloway had an exciting fight with Yair Rodriguez, touted by many as the most dynamic kicker in MMA. He won the fight by decision, but Rodriguez showcased his kicking game in the fight. The fighters won the Fight of the Night bonus for the fight.

The performance was even more impressive, considering it was Rodriguez’s first fight in two years. Nonetheless, Holloway’s granite chin withstood Rodriguez’s powerful strikes and claimed a unanimous decision win in the end.

In case you missed it!
