Helmut Marko the Red Bull team adviser has recently given his thoughts on the ongoing crisis in Saudi Arabia and has also given a bit of detail about the state of his drivers ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Helmut Marko has quoted on Sky Sports Germany that “Max is relaxed, Perez is a bit anxious. But if you are used to living in Mexico City, it’s not much safe there. Now we have the pandemic, a war in Europe, and also a missile attack ten kilometers from here. We can’t enjoy it now.”

Helmut Marko has stressed the critical situation in Saudi Arabia after the missile attack and has admitted that the mood around the team is very different as compared to what it normally is in a race week.

Helmut believes they would not be able to enjoy the Grand Prix as much as they did last season and given the current situation Helmut has also talked about Sergio who is not at ease considering what happened this Friday in Saudi Arabia.

It is very natural for drivers and people, in general, to worry about such things as “worrying” is something that is deeply ingrained in human nature and it is very hard for people to go against it.

Helmut has revealed that Max Verstappen is very relaxed at the moment but the same cannot be said about the other Red Bull driver who is a bit “on edge” since the missile attack.

Today is the Qualifying session for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and given that the two Red Bulls were not able to score any points in Bahrain, it is very crucial for the team that the two Red Bulls are up there on the grid with the pacey Ferrari’s.

The Red Bull team cannot afford to slip up in Saudi Arabia as it would further increase the gap between them and the Ferrari outfit.

Today’s Qualifying session has the potential of defining the Red Bulls season and it is going to be up to Helmut Marko and the Red Bull team to get the drivers in the right mindset before the start of today’s Qualifying session.
