Max Verstappen names his favorite tour destination on F1 calendar
Max Verstappen revealed his favorite touring destination from the Formula 1 calendar amidst 2025 preparations.

Max Verstappen has been racing in Formula 1 since 2015 and has raced in almost all of the iconic tracks. The Dutchman often visits local destinations of the racing venues to relax a little alongside his girlfriend, before or after the race. Recently Verstappen has revealed his favorite destination of all the lucrative racing destinations.
The current Formula 1 calendar covers five continents and 21 countries, on the 24-race schedule. The drivers often have some time to themselves to roam and enjoy the cities around the circuit. Some locations such as Las Vegas and Monaco offer more exploration opportunities to the drivers while some offer less.
Max Verstappen revealed that of all the racing venues, Japan appealed to him the most. The Dutchman highlighted that he’d definitely go to Japan for touring. The 27-year-old talked highly of the country’s capital city Tokyo and how it was full of ‘cool places’. Moreover, the Red Bull ace complimented the country’s delicacy, the Wagyu beef.
If we’re talking about a place to visit, I’d definitely go for Japan. Tokyo is a massive city full of cool places, and I’d make time to explore the whole country. Wagyu beef is delicious.

Max Verstappen makes a hilarious take on Italian food
The two Italian races at Imola and Monza provide a great time for the drivers to explore the local activities in the city. Max Verstappen, who has achieved some success in Italy made a hilarious remark on the cuisine of the Italians.
Verstappen insisted that he really enjoyed Italian food due to the vast variety present in them. However, the 27-year-old funnily noted that his liking towards the cuisine depended on his mood which changed from time to time.
I really enjoy Italian food, but it depends on my mood.

The 2025 calendar will also include 24 races, starting with the Australian GP. Verstappen will have to work hard with Red Bull in order to maintain his dominant winning streak. Regardless, the Dutchman would likely take time to enjoy the racing venues alongside his pregnant girlfriend Kelly Piquet.
