Red Bull driver Max Verstappen amassed his fourth world championship title after finishing P5 at the Las Vegas GP. He has been a force to reckon with ever since his first title triumph in 2021.

Since then,

Max Verstappen has won 41 races and has ushered the Milton Keynes-based team to three consecutive constructors’ titles as well. The 27-year-old has since shed light on his future in Formula 1.

For the Dutchman, enjoying his work remains the priority while racing in Formula 1. He has made it clear that he does not wish to compete for an eternity.

Verstappen currently has a contract with Red Bull until the end of 2028. While rumors have suggested that the Dutchman wants to switch teams, he is yet to make any statement on the same.

Former Dutch racer Jos Verstappen has shared his thoughts after his son’s fourth F1 title triumph. Max Verstappen is currently among the few drivers to win four consecutive titles in the history of F1.

Jos claimed that he was not sure about his son winning the title this year. His concerns arose from Red Bull’s shortfalls in the development of RB20.

Of course he had a certain lead (in the drivers’ championship). Whether he would keep that up, of course, depended on the development of his car. I wasn’t always sure about that myself. But what Max eventually showed and the races he drove, especially Brazil… that is really unprecedented, and that did ensure that he managed to pull it over the line.

Verstappen’s title win aside, Red Bull currently stands third in the constructors’ championship with two races to go. McLaren and Ferrari are currently the favorites to win that.
