The men’s WarGames main event at the 39th annual Survivor Series delivered one of the most star-studded and story-heavy battles in the match’s decorated history. Inside the towering double cage, two loaded squads collided: Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and The Usos against Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed.
What followed was chaos, emotion, and pure spectacle. Punk and Breakker opened the match, and Breakker wasted no time imposing his raw athleticism. He muscled the world champion into the corner, tossed him across the ring, and hammered him with ground-and-pound. Punk rallied with sharp leg kicks and a diving double ax handle before dropping Breakker with a diving lariat as the clock struck zero.
Drew McIntyre entered next and immediately overwhelmed Punk with heavy strikes, gouging at his eyes and launching him into the steel. Teaming with Breakker, the Scotsman brutalized the world champion until reinforcements arrived.
Cody Rhodes entered fourth, climbing the cage and soaring into the ring with a massive crossbody onto McIntyre. In the chaos, Rhodes accidentally elbowed a bloodied Punk, creating friction between the uneasy allies. They reset quickly, hitting McIntyre with a Hart Attack, followed by a Doomsday Device on Breakker, swinging momentum in their favor.
Logan Paul entered fifth, dragging two chairs into the ring like weapons of war. He targeted the WWE champion with a vicious Gallon Throw, then leapt from one ring to the other with a crossbody onto Punk. Soon, he was trading blows with Rhodes atop the cage while Breakker and McIntyre punished Punk below.
Jimmy Uso entered sixth, injecting fresh energy with superkicks to McIntyre and Breakker and a Whisper in the Wind. But McIntyre leveled him moments later, and Breakker crushed Rhodes with a devastating avalanche Frankensteiner.
Bronson Reed entered seventh and bulldozed the field. Three consecutive Tsunami splashes connected on Punk, Jimmy Uso, and Rhodes before he flattened Jey Uso, who entered eighth. The Usos briefly rallied with a Superkick Party and a 1D on Logan Paul, but the momentum shifted again as the ninth man entered.
Brock Lesnar tore into WarGames like a sledgehammer. Suplexes flew, F-5s landed, and bodies littered the canvas. With the ring cleared, Lesnar stepped out of the cage, staring down Roman Reigns as the final countdown hit zero.
‘The OTC’ met Lesnar at ringside with three Superman punches before Lesnar caught the fourth and F-5’d him through the announce desk. Only after Reigns re-entered did the WarGames match officially begin.
Lesnar nearly stole a quick win over Reigns, but Rhodes broke the pin. Punk dropped Lesnar with a GTS, and Cody hit Cross Rhodes, only for Paul to break up the double cover. Paul Heyman tried handing Logan the brass knuckles, but Reigns intercepted, spearing ‘The Maverick’ out of his boots and claiming the knucks.
A loaded Superman punch dropped Reed and McIntyre, and Breakker soon followed after a blistering spear. Momentum shifted wildly again as Reigns speared Lesnar through a table. Jimmy Uso tried to help Roman to his feet, but Breakker tore through him with a destructive spear.
Rhodes mounted a desperate comeback before McIntyre cut him off with a low blow, allowing Breakker to nearly split him in half with another spear. Just when Punk seemed ready to reclaim control, a masked intruder stormed the ring, blasting the world champion with a basement superkick followed by a stomp, which was quite similar to Seth Rollins.
The mysterious figure vanished as quickly as he appeared, leaving Punk defenseless. Breakker pulled his straps down and delivered a final, thunderous spear, pinning Punk and securing victory for Lesnar, McIntyre, Paul, Breakker, and Reed. After the match, Reigns stood over Punk and Rhodes.
The Chicago native rose first and extended a fist, which Reigns accepted. Rhodes joined moments later, exchanging tense but respectful words with the Tribal Chief as Survivor Series closed on unresolved tensions and simmering alliances.
Wrestling outlets point toward Austin Theory as the mystery attacker in the Men’s WarGames bout
The identity of the mystery attacker who interfered in the men’s Survivor Series WarGames main event has been revealed. During the match, a figure covered head-to-toe in black climbed the cage, entered the ring, and hit Seth Rollins’ signature moves, including a superkick and a devastating curb stomp to CM Punk.

The interference opened the door for Bron Breakker to spear Punk and secure the win for Team Breakker, which also featured Brock Lesnar, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul. They defeated the team of Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Usos.
A new report has now confirmed who was under the disguise. According to PWInsider, the masked attacker was Austin Theory. Even before the moment happened, the news outlet noted that Theory was backstage and scheduled to take part in the finish under a disguise. Theory has been off WWE television for several months due to injury.
Originally, before Rollins’ injury caused plans to shift, Theory was set to be on Rollins’ WarGames team alongside Breakker, Reed, and Lesnar. Fan speculation online also briefly pointed toward Buddy Matthews, who posted the caption ‘Imagine the Vision’ on Instagram just moments after the PLE came to an end, but that was unlikely, as he is under contract with AEW.
There have been rumors since the start of The Vision storyline after WrestleMania that Theory could eventually join the group, and it now appears the company has officially pulled the trigger on that direction.
