Michael Jordan is known to get riled up and make opponents pay if trash talked at..

Michael Jordan embarrassed PGA Champion Xander Schauffele in a round of golf after the golfer s**t talked the NBA legend
Michael Jordan has a love for golf which has kept his competitive side going long after his retirement. That competitive side has been talked about when people reveal the bets the Chicago Bulls legend makes with opponents. But what makes it worse for opponents, as PGA Champion Xander Schauffele figured out, is if one ends up talking trash to the greatest basketball player of all time.
Former PGA golfer and current member of the CBS golf team Colt Knost was speaking with Schauffele at The Memorial Tournament. When he asked the Champion if he trashed talked Michael Jordan, Schauffele had quite the reply.

I did my best version of it. And then he beat me, straight up, which is embarrassing. In the last three holes, yeah. I pancaked him on his stroke holes, and I started talking s--t to him. He got all quiet, focused and then birdied like 15-16 no strokes, beat me straight up. I was like, 'All right.'Xander Schauffele replied
It was a lesson for Xander Schauffele to try to rile up the NBA legend with trash talk. Something even a former golfer such as Knost knew all too well. Michael Jordan was famous for using any form of motivation he could find to go berserk on the basketball court. He would use it as motivation even if it was not intended to rile him up. It seems, that nature has still not diminished even at the age of 61.
But one has to be good enough to win as motivation alone won’t do. Well, the greatest basketball player of all time happens to be very good at golf. Allowing him to win wagers and such trash-talking battles against PGA champions.
Michael Jordan used other sports as an outlet to continue his competitive streak
The NBA legend usually had his way when playing against opponents on the basketball court. But even between games, he used to turn to other sports whenever he got the opportunity. His games against other NBA players ended up with major bets being thrown into the mix. Golf was one of those outlets.
But the 6-time champion would also compete with teammates, or staff by playing cards. What would burn out other players, wouldn’t matter for Jordan. He would then go on and beat teams on the court. That was the epitome of his competitive spirit. He even did not spare his teammates from the 1992 Dream Team.
Excepting basketball, Jordan now dabbles in sports his age permits him to take part in. All in all, even at age 61, the fire inside one of the greatest athletes of all time is evident. Therefore, his age should not fool those who think they can get the better of Michael Jordan.
