Michael Venom Page is truly not fond of UFC welterweight Colby Covington. The new UFC signee declared this on UFC’s official YouTube channel. He said he would like to ‘kick’ Covington in the face if given the opportunity among many other things.

Page recently sat down for an interview with Elz the Witch. The two discussed Venom’s life during a game of EA Sports UFC 5. That is when Colby Covington came up on screen and Page said:

I hate this guy. I'm going to be happy to kick this guy in the face... Yeah. I find him fake. He just doesn't seem like a nice guy and with all the stuff that came out last time about what fighters should and shouldn't be allowed to talk about with regards to people.

Page disapproved of Covington’s behavior during his controversial back-and-forth against Leon Edwards. He also does not like fighters talking about each other’s family members. He said that coming from a martial arts background, he believes in showing true sportsmanship. Page also said Covington tries too hard to stay relevant.

He is eager to step into the octagon and take a shot at Covington if the opportunity presents itself. Covington himself has had a very inactive career for the past few years. He returned to the cage for a title shot against Leon Edwards at UFC 296 but lost. Meanwhile, undefeated welterweight Ian Garry is also trying to get ‘Chaos’ to step into the octagon against him at UFC 303.

Michael Page cannot find an opponent for UFC 304

Michael Venom Page cannot seem to land an opponent for his next fight. Page recently made his UFC debut and now is looking to land a fight in his homeland at UFC Manchester. However, it appears that nobody is ready for the new welterweight on the July card.

Page talked about this on UFC DAY OFF. He expressed that he is ready to go after his last fight against Kevin Holland but nobody is ready to take him on.

I feel fresh after my last fight, more than willing to go. I think there is definitely a want for me to be on that card, it’s just ... who’s ready? It seems that everyone has got hamstring issues and stuff all of a sudden. It just seems like we’re trying to get an opponent and nobody seems to be ready.

Michael Page made his UFC debut against Kevin Holland at UFC 299. The fight went the distance and he won by unanimous decision. Page has already landed the #13 spot on the UFC’s welterweight rankings. It will be interesting to see if the Brit finds a suitable opponent to make it in time for the Manchester fight card.
