Milan Skriniar tests positive for Covid-19


Inter Milan player Milan Skriniar has tested positive for Covid-19. Skriniar is currently on country duty with Slovakia.
However it looks like he won’t be able to participate. Slovakia have a match against Israel in the coming days. Moreover Inter Milan themselves play against AC Milan on October 17th.
Milan Skriniar tests positive for corona virus
The Slovakia football association released a statement regarding Skriniar.
“The team continues to prepare for the match with Ireland according to a pre-established and approved plan in compliance with all hygiene measures as ordered by the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic,”

The player is in individual quarantine after the test, has no symptoms, feels good and will take another test in the coming days.”
Hence Skriniar won’t be able to feature for the Euro 2020 playoff match against Ireland.
