Minecraft has many naturally generated structures that are spawned when the world is generated. In this article we take a look at the Minecraft Bastion Remnants and all its features.
Naturally generated structures can be found in all the dimensions of the game be it, the Overworld, the Nether and the End Dimension. These structures generally contain good loot and also some mobs that provide a challenge to the players. However, conquering them is always worth it and here we discuss one of them in detail.
Down below we look at the Minecraft Bastion Remnants and all its features.
Minecraft Bastion Remnants
The Minecraft Bastion Remnants are large castle-like structures that are only found in the Nether Realm and found in all the biomes, except the basalt deltas.

Thee structures can spawn in 4 distinct variants and have the Piglins and Piglin Brutes inside them. They also contain some unique loot which cannot be found anywhere else.
Structure and Mobs
There are 4 distinct types of bastion remnant structures that spawn and these are:
- Bridges
- Hoglin Stables
- Housing Units
- Treasure Rooms
These are connected by hallways which may contain the Piglins, Hoglins and Piglin Brutes. The Bridge contains a large rampart with a piglin face on it. The Hoglin Stables meanwhile consist the hoglin stable chests and damaged hoglin stables.
The Housing units contains ramparts and nether wart farms and the Treasure Rooms contain 1 or 2 chests, along with blocks of gold and a magma cube spawner.
Loot
The Loot in Minecraft Bastion Remnants are all high tier and some of the unique ones are:
- Piglin Music Disc
- Snout Banner Pattern
- Magma Cube Spawner

- Iron and gold nuggets
- Spectral Arrows
- Gilded Blacstones
- Crying Obsidian
- Blocks of Gold

Advancements
Players can get the following Advancements:
- Those Were the Days: Got upon entering a Bastion Remnant.
- War Pigs: Got upon looting a chest in a Bastion Remnant.
