The world of Minecraft has a variety of features that line and make the world alive. These can either be landscapes, plants and animals and here is all about the Minecraft Corals.

The Biomes of Minecraft determine the type pf landscapes and flora found in them and the Underwater biomes are one of the most unexplored. This is because of massive water bodies filled with water and the secrets they may hide under them. The landscape under the Sea has also been beautified with the introduction of new items and structures.

Here is all you need to know about the Minecraft Corals.

The Coral is a flora block under the Sea which can form various small beautiful structures and come in a variety of forms.

Players can find them naturally generating in warm ocean biomes and come in huge clusters and in various colors. Corals can be obtained by mining with a Silk Touch Tool.

Corals also die naturally after a while and are termed as Dead Coral, which can also be mined only with a Silk Touch Tool. This happen when the coral is placed outside water and it turns a dull gray color.

Players can also grow corals using a Bone Meal under the Warm Ocean Biome and use it on a dirt, sand or gravel block.

The Minecraft Corals come in a variety of forms. These do not affect their usability but it changes their appearance. The varieties are:

  • Tube Corals
  • Brain Corals
  • Bubble Corals
  • Fire Corals
  • Horn Corals

  • The Corals are mainly there for a decorative purpose and is not used in other things in Minecraft. They are colorful and add that extra flair to the structures. Players can keep them in their houses or structures, but they need to be careful that Corals can only survive with a block of water surrounding it.
  • Otherwise, they will turn into Dead Corals and this cannot be turned back into normal corals.
  • Corals can be placed under a Note Block to make a Bass-drum sound.
