The Nether realm in Minecraft is a dangerous place and is often considered the Hell on Minecraft. The place is filled with lava and dangerous mobs. The mobs often are hostile on sight and attack the players.

Minecraft Magma Cube
The Magma Cube is a hostile mob that can be found in the Nether and is the Nether counterpart of the Slime.

Location and Spawns
The Magma Cube spawns in the Nether at all light levels and can spawn in sizes of 1, 2 and 4. The size of the Magma Cube depends upon the difficulty that the players is playing on. On Hard mode, over 50% spawn as the biggest size.
They spawn in the Nether Wastes in groups of 1-4, in Nether Fortresses in groups of 4, in Basalt Deltas in groups of 2-5 and from the spawners in the Bastion Remnants.
Behaviour and Attacks
The Minecraft Magma Cubes are hostile mobs that jumps around and seeks a player or a iron golem to attack. They will hop around aimlessly if no players are around.
They are not hurt by fall damage or get hurt or slowed by lava. The bigger the Magma Cube, the higher it can jump. However, they can drown in water if submerged for a long time.
When killed, it divides in 2-4 of its smaller version. If the smallest ones are killed, then they disappear and drop items.
The Magma Cube is stronger than the Slimes and it has the amount of health of it size squared, attack damage +2 of its size and armor point its size tripled. They also have a high attack speed of 2 attacks per second. A big Magma Cube will deal 12 health point damage to players in normal difficulty.
Drops
- Large Magma Cubes drop 0-1 magma cream and 4 EXP orbs.
- Small Magma Cubes drop 0-1 magma cream and 2 EXP orbs.
- Tiny Magma Cubes drop 1 EXP orb.
