The AEW Revolution go-home episode of Dynamite featured one of the most intriguing angles of the year so far. Prior to the show, MJF called his rival, “Hangman” Adam Page, out in the parking lot. When the latter arrived at the arena, a brawl ignited in the arena. This escalated inside the ring, where MJF got the upper hand on Page. After delivering a Heat Seeker on him, MJF attempted to set Page on fire.

Before doing so, several security and backstage personnel rushed to the ring to stop the former AEW World Champion. MJF was held down and later escorted to the back. On Saturday, the self-proclaimed Devil will finally be able to get his hands on Page as they’ll square off at Revolution. This rivalry stems from MJF’s jealousy of Page in regards to how fans have always portrayed him as the main character of AEW.

After returning in 2024, Hangman had gone down a dark path to avenge longtime rival Swerve Strickland. The latter had broken into his home, crossing several lines during their feud. As such, the former Elite member took revenge by setting Strickland’s house on fire and defeating him in a violent match at All Out.

Despite these questionable actions, the AEW crowd has continued to cheer for Adam Page. This has irked MJF, who has called out the hypocrisy of fans. The two stars have been in the promotion since its inception and have only faced each other once in singles action. Therefore, this is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated bouts in the company’s five-year history.

Meanwhile, another fan couldn’t fathom why MJF wasn’t the one leading The Death Riders faction instead of Jon Moxley.
