Every baseball player dreams of not just playing but winning the Major League Baseball (MLB) World Series in his career. However, many MLB legends have managed to do so on multiple occasions and earned recognition all over the world.  

Now, let’s look at the top five players with most MLB World Series wins in the history of the game:

Greg Maddux (1986-2006)

Former MLB pitcher and college basketball coach Gregory Alan Maddux was associated with the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs but is largely known for his stint at the Canadian Hockey League. He is also the only MLB pitcher to win games for 17 straight seasons and was later inducted in the Hall of Fame.

Barry Larkin (1986-2004)

From 1986 to 2004, Barry Louis Larkin played shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds of the MLB apart from his successful stint at the American National League. Besides enormous success for the Reds, he also won a silver medal in Los Angeles while representing The United States of America (USA) in 1984.

Randy Johnson (1988-2009)

At third place in this list of elite MLB players, Randy Johnson served as a pitcher for six teams, mainly Seattle Mariners and Arizona Diamondbacks across as many as 22 seasons. Nicknamed as “The Big Unit”, Johnson won the World Series Championship as well as the Most Valuable Player of the Year award in 2001.

Derek Jeter (1995-2014)

Former baseball shortstop Derek Jeter predominantly played for the New York Yankees, one of the most valuable teams in MLB history. The baseball executive-turned-businessman played a crucial role in the success of the Yankees with the help of his hitting, base-running, fielding, and leadership skills. He won numerous awards during his active years like the AL Rookie of the Year as well as the Golden Glove Award.

Joe Collins (1948-1957)

Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Joseph Edward Collins aka Joe Collins majorly played in the American National League. However, he was also associated with the New York Yankees between 1948 and 1957. He was a career 256 hitter with 163 hits in 36 post-season matches, which is one of the few unbreakable MLB records.
