Alex Rodriguez‘s dating life has always caught the eye of the media. His recent relationship with Jaclyn Cordeiro took over the internet by storm. They’ve been found strolling down the lane and also celebrating Christmas together this year. However, the fans have not forgotten Rodriguez’s past marriage that broke to shreds following a blame-game turmoil.

A-Rod was happily married to his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis when things took a sudden turn for the worse. Alex and Cynthia‘s eyes met at Miami Gym, following dating news. The couple walked down the aisle in 2002. Following their marriage shortly after Alex jumped ships to play for the Yankees.

Soon after welcoming their second child Ella, Cynthia filed a divorce suit. The world was left aghast, and the allegations against Alex were rather serious. Not to forget, the timing couldn’t have been worse. The couple fought the court battle, but now the exes have a different dynamic.

The filed suit and allegations against Alex were primarily based on infidelity. The news struck with another lightning headline of pop star Madonna being involved with the NYY player. Obviously, the rumors were denied, as Madonna was married to Guy Ritchie at the time.

Alex Rodriguez and Cynthia Scurtis leap from infidelity allegations to co-parenting

Last Cynthia spoke about her husband, she proudly mentioned how she loved the attention he got given his sharp looks. “He’s my husband and if people find him attractive and sexy, great,” she said in the past. The statement was replaced by “emotional abandonment” and “marital misconduct” mentioned in the court documents alleging Alex. Not only this, Madonna introducing Alex to her Kabbalah faith became the highlight of the alleged affair.

In a statement, talking about the allegations and explaining her side, the pop star Madonna came on record. Madonna said, “I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez.” She also added, “I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study.”

After a stormy fight, peace prevailed, at least on the surface. Coming to a mutual understanding, Cynthia and Alex are now co-parents of two wonderful children. Alex was involved in a series of famously discussed relationships, one even including JLo.

It does appear the player is on his way to settling again with him making his relationship with Jaclyn Cordeiro official to the delight of the fans. The turmoil has ended, and as it appears, has turned out with two love birds in the center of attention again.
