Watch: Aaron Judge demolishing HR No. 48 as NY Yankees recapture their triumphant rhythm

Aaron Judge

Aaron Judge has assured his fans that he wants to lift more than one trophy in the 2022 season after his charming performance in the Subway Series against the New York Mets. The American league MVP court has been adjourned according to the Yankee family and it is Aaron Judge and his very large hands.

Aaron Judgeโ€™s home run No. 48 was an artistic production which landed 453 feet from home plate, a 115 mph drive deep into the lower deck in left field at Yankee Stadium. The New York Yankees and Judge took over Taijuan Walker, replacement for Metโ€™s Jacob deGrom, he delivered an RBI single to center scoring Jose Trevino to push the game to 4-2.

โ€œI just got a little too quick,โ€ Taijuan Walker said. โ€œI gave up the home run, it wasnโ€™t a bad pitch โ€” it just wasnโ€™t the right pitch. Then a couple of hits and two walks. Stuff kind of sped up on me there and I didnโ€™t slow it down. But still I was able to limit the damage and gave us a chance to win.โ€

But Aaron Judge certainly did not give the Mets the chance to win, right Taijuan?

โ€œWe got some clutch hits and clutch at-bats from guys,โ€ New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said. โ€œThis was a really good baseball game out there in a great environment. We were able to hang on tonight. Itโ€™s a good way to finish whatโ€™s been a tough stretch for us.

Aaron Judge even mentioned that after Aaron Booneโ€™s exasperated comment on the Yankees performance after the All-Star break, โ€œI think the swagger has always been there, I think it just took a little reminder of who we are and what type of baseball we play. We got it back.โ€

โ€œThat was as close to a playoff atmosphere as youโ€™re going to get — the last two nights and then [the July series] over at Citi Field,โ€ Aaron Judge said. โ€œIt was a fun matchup. Youโ€™d like to think ahead a little bit, because of the pace theyโ€™re on and where we are too. But weโ€™ve got to get there first.โ€
