“OH! I loved it” Alex Rodriguez unveiled how NBA Legend Michael Jordan steered him towards an addiction

Michael Jordan and Alex Rodriguez
Michael Jordan and Alex Rodriguez, two insane legends of two very different sports played golf together back in the day. A-Rod got hooked on to a habit introduced to him by legendary NBA star MJ. Rodriguez even mentioned that Jordan could be one of the best ambassadors of the habit.
A-Rod was introduced to cigars by Michael Jordan from which, in A-Rod’s words, he extracted immense pleasure. Yankee Star and MJ are in a very similar league in terms of popularity which was probably the reason why they ended up playing golf together, although NBA views are considerably higher than that of MLB.
Alex Rodriguez said, “I don’t remember my first cigar, but the first time I made a pivot from liking cigars to loving them was while playing golf with Michael Jordan. So not only does Michael sell sneakers—I saw where he’s doing $3 billion in sales in your interview,”
“But he’s a good ambassador for cigars. It was a Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona. Just one. And boy I just fell in love with it. Then I couldn’t find them, they were hard to find for me. (On, how many did you have the first time?),” Alex Rodriguez added.
Was Alex Rodriguez the ‘Michael Jordan’ of baseball?

Then Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards was once put to a conversation regarding A-Rod with GQ, “GQ: What did you learn in the last few days about the dude who might own your team?” To which Edwards said “They told me he’s a Hall of Famer. Somebody told me he’s like the Jordan of baseball.”
“GQ: You didn’t watch any games or highlights to verify that with your own eyes?
Edwards: Nah, I ain’t watch none, nah. I know he date J-Lo [Jennifer Lopez], though!
GQ: He does not.
Edwards: What?
GQ: He used to date J-Lo, but they just broke up.
Edwards: Damn!
GQ: You look like you’re disappointed.
Edwards: Yeah, I am.
GQ: Any reason?
Edwards: He gonna be my owner, I want him to be happy.”
