The name of Alex Rodriguez has always seen huge attraction. The former baseball player has gained plenty of popularity in his career for both his on-and-off-field incidents. He has once again become the trendy topic in the USA following a shocking report from ESPN. According to the outlet, the ex-Yankees star has ratted out and revealed the names of others involved in the PEDs cheating scandal.
Also known by his moniker of “A-Rod”, the player was found guilty of using Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs). For this, he was given a lengthy suspension which saw him miss the entirety of the 2014 season. As per the report, A-Rod seems to have dropped a huge bomb on the other players who were involved in this drug-related scandal.
Even before he admitted to using the PEDs, there had been theories that Rodriguez might be using them. For several years he kept denying their usage. He is now said to have ratted out Manny Ramirez, Ryan Braun, and one unnamed All-Star were also using them.
A-Rod gave these names when the federal agents allowed him the “Queen for a Day” status meaning he could not face any legal action for it. In this document, the Minnesota Timberwolves owner revealed how Anthony Bosch, founder of Biogenesis informed him that these players have been using the drugs to enhance their performances as well.

The life of Alex Rodriguez has been filled with drama and controversy. While his off-field incidents are plenty, his achievements on the pitch made him a standout player. However, following, the report of him using PEDs to enhance his performance, those achievements and accomplishments are now being questioned by the fans. The other big question on the minds of several people is – Did A-Rod lie to the New York Yankees?
Despite his controversial career, he remains a well-adored figure among the Yankee faithful. The recent report regarding him could swerve this relationship though as he did lie to the management. When asked about his relationship with Anthony Bosch by Yankees president Randy Levine in 2012, A-Rod denied everything, a thing he admitted to the federal agents during the investigation.
During the investigation, A-Rod also gave details about how Bosch advised him to avoid legal detection. Bosch advised the player to “use only midstream urine as a sample,” the same tip he gave other players who used the drugs. The biochemist further used a complicated, science-based approach which could help Rodriguez in the future.
The use of growth hormones and excessive use of peptides would set him apart from others. “If they would have drawn blood for HGH, they wouldn’t have found it. Classic case of misdirection,” Bosch told the agents. For his aide, A-Rod used to pay him directly. He has so far refused to make any statements regarding the new report. What repercussions will this have on his career and life after this bomb drop would be interesting to look out for.
