Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were the power couple of sports and Hollywood everyone looked up to. They never failed to embrace each other in public, and A-Rod was incredibly proud of dating one of the biggest pop icons and divas recognized globally.
Everything between the two seemed like a fairytale until the couple decided to split in 2021. Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez had even announced their engagement before they split in 2019. The couple was on board with getting married in 2020, halted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
They now live their own lives and have found solace in their new partners. Jennifer Lopez returned to her ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck, and the couple married in 2022. When he appeared in the talk show ‘Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?’, Alex Rodriguez spared his thoughts on his ex-partner getting married. When asked if J-Lo getting married to one of her exes bothers him, he says, “With Jennifer, it was a good experience, and I wish her and the children — who are smart and beautiful and wonderful — I wish them the very best.”

Alex Rodriguez did not have much to say about Jennifer Lopez getting married to one of her previous partners. Chris Wallace was somewhat astounded that A-Rod was pretty much complacent about this. When Rodriguez replied to Wallace’s question on whether J-Lo’s new life with Ben Affleck bothers him, he responded, “That’s it?” Rodriguez replied, “That’s it.”
A-Rod and J-Lo’s relationship started in 2017 wherein they rekindled their friendship to that of romantic partners. Since then, the couple had been the talk of Hollywood and the MLB community and have embraced each other on several high-profile occasions. A-Rod admitted in a 1998 interview that he had a crush on Jennifer Lopez and would love to date her someday.
The couple spent the first half of the pandemic together at home, with their children from their ex-partners. Even though they got engaged in 2019, Rodriguez and Lopez called it off in 2021 due to growing differences between them. The couple, however, assured that they would remain good friends.
Since then, they have moved on with their lives and found new partners. Jennifer Lopez has now returned to her ex Ben Affleck, and the couple recently tied the knot last year in July 2022. They have recently moved to a mansion worth around $34.5 million in Los Angeles.
On the other hand, Alex Rodriguez found love with Canadian fitness influencer Jaclyn Cordeiro. The couple announced themselves to the world last Christmas in 2022 and have been recently spotted together, watching the Super Bowl LVII from the venue.
Fans surely do reminisce about the fantastic couple that Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez made back when they were dating. However, they seem happy with their new lives, embracing the love they are receiving from their new partners.
