Asdrubal Cabrera might be just playing in the Venezuelan Winter League for Caribes de Anzoategui, but he surely does not seem to be taken for granted or to be made fun off. So, when Carlos Castro smashed him for a home run and decided to celebrate it, in his over-enthusiastic style, the former New York Met was having none off it.
Cabrera ran across to the 28-year-old Tiburones de La Guaira to make his intentions clear of just what he should not do on the baseball field. Taking about the entire incident, Castro watched the homer he hit off left-hander Jose Torres sail over the fence.
After which he flipped his bat before blatantly staring into Caribes dugout. That was enough to trigger Asdrubal Cabrera as things just got bad to worse from this moment on.
To show Castro his place, Asdrubal ran over to Torres as he rounded first base and clotheslined the 28-year-old La Guaira momentary-star with a solid left arm. Cameras even caught Castro falling flat on the ground, with no control as the entire dugout ran out to join the brawl.

For modern-day fans, Asdrubal Cabrera is a 37-year-old veteran, who has played for seven different teams during his major league career that spanned from 2007-2021, including 2016-18 with the iconic New York Mets,
Safe to say, was not above styling after hitting a big home run during his MLB career.
That being said, while fans are still waiting for the league to put out its official words on the incident, and to know what severe punishment Cabrera will be undergoing, there is no denying that the inner feeling of the culprit was clear and out in the open.
