As the MLB season enters its thrilling final few weeks, the excitement level has gone up a few levels. Teams are pushing hard to somehow make it into the knockout stages. While the New York Yankees might have endured a difficult season, they are enjoying a good week recently. The rookie players have made an instant impact on the team signaling better things for the future. However, there is one player, Giancarlo Stanton who is reminding everyone why he still is one of the best power hitters.

This season, several Yankee players have gone through a poor phase. Stanton was one of them. His being out of form and the absence of Aaron Judge was a big blow to the offense of the team. The 33-year-old seems to be finding his way back in recent weeks. On Tuesday night he reached a milestone moment as he fired his 400th home run.

The milestone moment came in the bottom of the sixth inning with the scores at 1-1. This not only broke the tie but also helped his side claim a 5-1 victory. He would call this moment “great” and received a curtain call from the fans at the Yankee stadium.

That was great. It was awesome seeing all of my teammates and they’re excited and having fun with it, and to be able to go out for a curtain call was the cherry on top,Stanton said after the game. He is the fourth fastest player in MLB history to reach the 400-home run club after Mark McGwire, Babe Ruth, and Alex Rodriguez.

Hitting a home run in Major League Baseball (MLB) is considered a special moment. To hit that over 400 times would mean there is something special about one player. Giancarlo Stanton is now the 58th member of the 400-plus home runs club. He is currently third in the active player rankings with the most home runs behind legendary Miguel Cabrera and Nelson Cruz.

Stanton had been subjected to loud boos from the Yankees crowd. He was also called out for his poor performances on social media. This time the internet was full of praise as he reached near a huge figure. One cheerful user wrote on Twitter (now called X) “an absolute missile” referring to his home run.
