Jacob deGrom and Angel Hernandez get into heated argument in Saturday's match

It had to be Angel Hernandez again. Controversial umpire Angel Hernandez and Mets’ star Jacob deGrom seem to have had some differences in in Saturday’s match against the New York Mets and the Oakland Athletics. It all started in the first inning when Hernandes and deGrom were seen exchanging words which were unpleasant.

Given Jacob deGrom’s stats in Saturday’s match of giving five runs in four innings, six hits, four walks and a drop of 5-3 this season, things . didn’t go as expected. As for umpire Angel Hernandez, according to fans, he is one the worst umpires in MLB history and surrounded by controversy. This time it was quite tough to tell who’s fault it was.

Whoever’s fault it may have been, and the end of the day, it’s the New York Mets who were worst hit. With the battle for the NL East title, this could be quite fatal for the team. Though the 3-game series between the Braves and the Mets could serve as a decider, where the Mets have a good chance, this could be one of the worst outing Jacob deGrom has ever had.
