The Mets have signed, Carlos Correa for a 12-year, $315 million. Brandon Nimmo for an 8-year, $162 million. Edwin Diaz for a 5-year, $102 million. Justin Verlander for a 2-year, $86.6 million deal. Kodai Senga for a 5-year, $75 million deal. Jose Quintana for a 2-year, $26 million deal. With this, several other deals which are less that $25 million or are in terms of Draft picks.

The Mets would have a $500 million payroll starting next year. The other owners are internally complaining over Steve Cohen’s actions as he is outbidding everyone. None has said any demoralizing word currently but the other franchise owners are under grave tautness.
