Former Dodgers pitcher Scott Erickson accused of disturbing behavior in deadly hit-and-run case
Scott Erickson has been accused of being involved in the death of two children in September 2020 along with Rebecca Grossman.

In the past few weeks, the name of former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Scott Erickson has once again been trending on social reason. A major reason for this has been due to his actions in the 2020 hit-and-run case, whose trial is ongoing.
Erickson, along with his former girlfriend Rebecca Grossman are under the spotlight for their involvement in the death of two young kids. Grossman’s attorneys have now accused the former baseball star and alleged that he should also been prosecuted just the way their client has been.
For the unversed, On September 29, 2020, Grossman and Erickson met for lunch. After the lunch they would drive around in their cars. During this Grossman was reported to be under the influence and hit two children, Mark Iskander (11) and Jacob Iskander (8).
The two kids tragically lost their lives due to this hit from Grossman’s white colored SUV. The prosecutors have alleged that she was challenged to a car race by Erickson. She would later quickly flee the scene, which led to hear being charged with hit-and-run, vehicle manslaughter and second-degree murder.
Scott Erickson accused of hiding in bushes following fatal incident
The incident that took place on September 29, 2020 shocked several people across the country. The defense has now alleged Scott Erickson was hiding in bushes during the incident and claimed that the wrong person was on trial.
As per reports, he has been alleged to have been driving besides Rebecca Grossman. The defense in their part have pointed fingers at the 56-year-old pitcher.
Attorney Tony Buzbee would blame Erickson and the police for their sub-par investigation. The defense also claimed that it was Erickson’s car that hit the kids before their bodies touched the vehicle of Grossman.
The police are prosecuting the wrong person. Mr. Erickson stopped his vehicle, he hid in the bushes, watching what the police were doing. He went to Mr. Grossman's house and said some very inflammatory things, and then went home.Tony Buzbee accuses Scott Erickson for the incident as per Marca.
Buzbee would stun the court by giving a description fit of Erickson and asking the witnesses whether they had seen any person hiding in the bushes. However, no witnesses reported seeing a figure who matched his description.
As the trial goes on, social media has come forward in support of the Iskander family. For the time being, Grossman is free on a massive $2 million surety bond. If the charges against her convicted, she could face upto 34 years in prison.
Only time will now tell how this trial goes on from here. Many people are keeping their eyes close to this case while waiting for further updates in the upcoming future.
