Mookie Betts shows off basketball skill
Los Angeles Dodgers Mookie Betts has once again gained social media attention, but not totally in a positive light. The 6-time MLB All-Star showed off his basketball skill at the University of Memphis as he wore their jersey and rocked the floor.
His moves proved that he is not only a top baseball player but also a gifted athlete in other sports fields. Even before his basketball skills lighted social platforms, videos of the 30-year-old player working out as a wide receiver urged fans to think about him in a football jersey.
Now the fans have to worry if their favorite bowler will turn into another sports field or not. Photos and videos of his basketball skill were released on Wednesday where he flaunted his good form in front of the net. Though the Dodgers were pretty much settled to participate in the World Series, they crumbled in the end.

Mookie Betts draws both positive and negative comments on social media
The team couldn’t even qualify for the NLCS, let alone the World Series. Their off-season time allowed players to take a break or exercise just like Betts. In the recently released video, Betts is shown dribbling the ball between his legs before spinning and hooping a shot. He made a 3-pointer look so easy.
If baseball doesn’t work for the star player, he may have options both in football and basketball field. He has enough interactions with basketball, especially as he used to play it during his college days. No wonder he still remembers the style.
The video came out at the wrong time, making the Dodgers fans berate him. They are still grieving their loss, and the star player is dribbling instead of bowling. The fans are just hurt. But there was a positive response to this also. Hopefully, the fans and the team recover from the Series loss and start anew.
