Following his move to the New York Mets from Houston Astros, ace pitcher Justin Verlander and his supermodel wife Kate Upton has moved to Florida. After listing their long-time California home, the couple have purchased a $6.55 million dollar home in Jupiter, Florida.

His teammate and fellow legendary pitcher Max Scherzer already has two properties there. Verlander and his wife sold their Beverly Hills house which they had brought for $5.25 million, to actor Timothee Chalamet for $11 million.

Justin Verlander is currently residing with his wife Kate Upton in their Jupiter property. She though is likely to return to New York again as the duo are planning to buy a penthouse in NYC. This Manhatten property is listed at $16.7 million and is spread across 4,100 square-feet. It includes five-and-a-half bathrooms and four bedrooms and has three terraces.

Equipped with private elevators, the property features a state-of-art kitchen with formal dining. One of the bedrooms has a private balcony which gives a spectacular views of Central Park. The building itself offers its residents a 65 foot swimming pool, a fitness center with modern equipments, a multi purpose game room, a playroom for children, a basketball court and a party room for dining.

The talks of purchase is still underway. The couple will surely likely to get their hands on it quickly. This property has been designed by Architectural Digest Hall-of-Famer William Sofield.

Justin Verlander grew up in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia, with his parents, Richard and Kathy Verlander and a younger brother, Ben Verlander. Both brothers have played together with each other at Detroit Tigers. Prior to that, the 3x Cy Young Award winner played little league at Tuckahoe Little League in Richmond, Virginia and showed off his great pitching skills at a young age.

This luxurious home features six bedrooms, a primary suite, glass showers with a frame, walk-in closets, and lavish bathrooms which have every spa-related technology fitted inside. The outdoors features a grand kitchen, a large relaxing patio, and heated pools. The home also includes two jet ski lifts and a boat lift.

Their new home in Jupiter spreads across 4,600 square feet and is bounded by the Loxahatchee River. The house built in 2015, sits on 1.25 acres of land and features breathtaking views.

As mentioned above, before moving to their new home in Jupiter, the couple sold their previous home. The Beverly Hills home in LA was originally constructed in 1976. They bought the house for $5.25 million in 2016. The property was scattered around at 5,500 square feet. The house consists of four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a lavish tennis court.

The area boasts a celebrity pedigree. They purchased this property from Mindy Peters, former wife of producer Jon Peters. They bought the property from tennis champion Peter Sampras, who himself acquired the property from Grammy winner Kenny G. So, it came as no surprise that another celebrity, Timothee Chalamet bought the place for $11 million.
