The MMA world is buzzing with the news surrounding tech mogul Mark Zuckerberg and his love for MMA. It seemed the Meta CEO’s antics at the UFC 300 have earned him some unexpected praise from an MMA champion, Jake Shields. Zuckerberg’s profanity-laced talk took center stage for discussion.

Former MMA champion Jake Shields is not a liberal and constantly attacks leftism and woke ideology. As such, in the past, Shields has criticized the Meta CEO. However, the BJJ expert was impressed with Zuckerberg’s evolution, which he felt was evident at the UFC 300 event.

Zuck has been training and hanging around fighters, so he's slowly becoming more human and more of a man.

Now, anyone familiar with Zuckerberg’s public persona knows that the man has often been compared to a robot. This is thanks to his infamously stoic and empty facial expressions. But it appears his time spent in the MMA world has done wonders for his personality. It’s a far cry from the Zuckerberg everyone used to see.

Zuckerberg has been on quite the MMA journey of his own. Rumor had that he trained more hard ever since that infamous callout from Elon Musk happened. The fight never materialized, though. It seems the Meta boss is determined to prove he’s got what it takes to hang with the best. He was training with UFC champions like Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski as well.

Tristan Tate, the brother of the controversial influencer Andrew Tate, weighed in on Zuckerberg’s newfound love for MMA. He took to X to comment on Jake Shield’s post embracing the growth of Mark Zuckerberg. He applauded Zuckerberg on his willingness to learn to fight.

Its actually great to see. People in the forefront of culture reverting to some level of traditional masculinity is great for everybody. Zuck is learning to fight. Culture is shifting. W.

Tate has problems with Zuckerberg for the Instagram ban. Nevertheless, Tate did not shy away from praising Zuckerberg. The combat sports journey of the Meta CEO started as an interesting hobby to a passionate learning experience. As such, everyone can expect him to attend more UFC events and train with other fighters in the future.
