Former UFC light heavyweight contender, Corey Anderson is all set to face Bellator’s light heavyweight champion, Vadim Nemkov at the co-main event of UFC 277. Corey is a force to be reckoned with, and he is on the verge of winning his first world championship in a major promotion.
He competed in UFC for a long time, and he holds wins over some legends of the division, many critics claim Anderson was not good enough to be a champ in the UFC, and that’s why he had to come down to Bellator to face easier competition. Corey was pretty calm in his response, and he claimed it was a business move.
He wrote, “It was a business move. It all made sense. I talked to the people above me that did it before me, Eddie Alvarez, people that’s been around the block, different organizations. It’s like they said, I have a family, you have to make the money People can say what they want to say, but I beat the UFC champion, handily on two week’s notice. There wasn’t one scorecard that went his way. So, what are you saying?”
“It was the easiest fight I ever had”– Corey Anderson breaks down his first fight against Jan Blachowicz

Anderson is 1-1 against the former champion, Jan Blachowicz. He dominated him in their first affair, but Jan knocked him out in the second to settle the score. Corey said he went into the 2nd one a little too overconfident, but that still doesn’t undermine his first performance, “Yeah, I got knocked out, people get knocked out, and you can get caught by Jan,” Anderson said. “But, you go back and watch that fight I did against him in my fifth or sixth fight, ever, I milked him like a cow.”

“It was the easiest fight I ever had, to be honest,” he added. “I was taking him down left and right. Now, I did go out there with a cocky mindset in my last fight, playing games and thinking like I already beat his dude before, and it cost me. If I go out there serious and do what I do, I am untouchable.”
