“Make your career off of beating tomato”- Julianna Pena accuses Kayla Harrison of avoiding real threats by re-signing with PFL

The rising women fighter, Kayla Harrison re-signed with PFL after receiving a lot of lucrative offers from fighting agencies all around the world. Harrison said that she received many lucrative offers but ultimately the PFL had the right to match any contract received and they did so which led to Harrison resigning with the PFL.

Even though Harrison won her second straight PFL lightweight title there have been those who question the level of opponents she’s had up to this point. Kayla knew fans wanted her to see her compete against the top-ranked fighters, but it is not possible because UFC and Bellator don’t allow cross-promotional fights. She was eyeing a fight against Cris Cyborg, but it never materialized, and now she has an opponent for PFL’s new season.
