A recent video of a Muay-Thai fighter taking on a boxer went viral on social media. ‘Deen The Great’, a boxing influencer organized a local boxing event. As such, a Muay Thai fighter and a boxer clashed heads inside a small squared space restricted with just cones and chains.

In the video, the boxer immediately took the initiative and put the Thai fighter on the back foot. He blasted straight punches to his opponent’s face and mixed it with body shots. Much like Mike Tyson, the boxer weaved and slipped through the punches to enter into close range. As such, he almost decapitated the Thai fighter to win the bout.

Surprisingly, the boxer came in a casual outfit with jeans and a baggy T-shirt. But, it didn’t matter. He flaunted his boxing skills and showboated to get the victory. Muay Thai and Boxing are two completely different sports and it made the difference in their bout. The Thai fighter didn’t have any answers to the boxer’s speed and movement. Despite losing, he showed great sportsmanship at the end.

‘Deen The Great’, Nurideen Shahid who hosted the event is a well-known YouTuber. He even competed in influencer boxing himself and earned an undefeated record of five wins. Famously, he faced Walid Sharks, another influencer on the KSI vs Tommy Fury fight card.

Boxing and Muay Thai contrasted in numerous ways as a combat sport. As such, what would happen if a Muay Thai fighter faced a boxer under boxing rules? Well, a clip of such a case went viral on X and YouTube. Posted by ‘Deen The Great’, this fight was part of a friendly event he hosted in his neighbourhood.

The boxer, right from the start battered the Muay Thai fighter with punches. With limited experience in boxing, the Thai fighter couldn’t retaliate with force. The majority of his punches were telegraphed and the boxer easily slipped them. This earned him the win comfortably. As such, this video went viral on X and garnered reactions from the fight fans. Since the captions put forth an argument of boxing being the best martial art, fight fans opened a debate about it. They called the fight unfair since the Thai fighter was devoid of his weapons such as knees, elbows, and kicks. As such, they trashed the ones who called boxing superior.

These were the exact reasons why the sport of mixed martial arts succeeded. It combined all martial arts like Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, wrestling, and many more into one giant culmination. However, the debate of which was the best martial art is never-ending.
