Tate’s first claim to fame was when he was kicked out of the TV show Big Brother following a video which appeared to depict him attacking a woman. After retiring from Kickboxing he began offering paid courses and memberships through his website. Tate’s opinions on topics such as sexual assault have been very contentious.

The former kickboxer was banned from Instagram and Facebook by the parent company Meta. The company said it had banned the controversial star from its platforms for violating its policies on dangerous organisations and individuals.
