Bobby Green should have been allowed to fight for longer than he did, according to Arman Tsarukyan. Furthermore, Tsarukyan commented on Jalin Turner’s controversial stoppage, which made him the winner at the UFC Austin co-main.

Turner took on Green in the co-main event of the night after agreeing to the fight on short notice. In addition, Turner put on an amazing performance and won the fight via a swift KO in the first round.

The first minute of the fight saw Turner drop Green with his right hand, which completely shook him. After which, Jalin Turner unleashed a series of vicious shots that went unanswered for 10 seconds before the referee stepped in. However, the delayed stoppage doesn’t seem to bother Tsarukyan, who doesn’t like Green at all. Furthermore, in an interview with The MMA Hour, Tsarukyan stated:

Understandably, Ariel Helwani asked Tsarukyan about the delayed stoppage during the fight between Turner and Green. However, Tsarukyan expressed that the referee should have given them five more minutes so that Green would have been battered more.

Furthermore, Tsarukyan revealed that he was very happy after the fight because Green got knocked out cold. Subsequently, Tsarukyan’s disapproving Green is rather distasteful towards him after their recent physical altercation.

The stoppage at the Turner vs. Green bout was met with criticism from fans because of the referee’s delayed reaction. Furthermore, Dana White even called it one of the worst stoppages that he has ever seen in his entire career. However, it doesn’t seem to bother Tsarukyan, who does not like Green at all.

Just before the event, Tsarukyan and Green were involved in a scuffle at a hotel recently, which escalated into a physical altercation. This led to another confrontation between their teams the following day. The animosity between the fighters is believed to stem from some derogatory comments Green made about Tsarukyan in the weeks leading up to UFC Austin.

In addition, fans reacted to Tsarukyan’s comments by stating, “Arman uniting MMA Twitter to root for Islam Makhachev is WILD.”

Fans reacted by stating that Tsarukyan is trying to adopt a villain persona because it sells tickets for fights. Subsequently, some fans stated that he was losing his fan base with these comments and becoming unlikeable. In addition, fans stated how Tsarukyan is making fans come together and pray for Islam Makhachev to knock him out in the future.
