Combat sports remain the most brutal sport on earth. With the rise of UFC and other MMA promotions, the sport has gained worldwide recognition. It is a huge achievement that a sport that was invented in the 1990s could gather such a following in less than 50 years. However, it does make the fight fans feel very uncomfortable here and there. Fighters can have horrible injuries and bloodied faces and might even “puke” during a fight.
At a Combat sports event in Bangkok, the most unimaginable thing happened during the main event. The main event featured Kickboxers Praewpraw and Dokmaipa in a back-and-forth affair. Reports suggest that Dokmaipa controlled the fight until Praewpraw rocked him with a left cross. From that moment, the momentum changed in Praewpraw’s favor. He advanced with a flurry of punches and landed a knee strike to Dokmapia’s body, making him vomit inside the ring.
Sweet Punch Memories, a Twitter account that follows and keeps up with Kickboxing and Muay Thai events, posted the clip. The tweet revealed the summary of the fight. The account wrote, “Dokmaipa was in control of the fight until Praewpraw found that left cross over his jab and start pouring on him, mixing left cross and knee to the body. Making Dokmaipa puke on the mat. Nasty finish.”
In the recent memory of Combat sports, fight fans have yet to see anything of this nature. There was a two vs two fight featuring former UFC Champion Rampage Jackson, but nothing like puking inside the cage.

Paddy Pimblett and the puke incident
Rising UFC star Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett once puked inside the cage. After defeating Julian Erosa in 2016, in the post-fight interview, Paddy started puking on the cage floor. It was one of those moments where victory turned sour due to an embarrassing action.
Unlike Dokmaipa, who vomited during the fight, Paddy Pimblett puked after the contest saving himself from further embarrassment. He has not fought since his controversial victory over Jared Gordon at UFC 282. Paddy has become a villain for the fight fans after his attitude following the fight with Gordon. He even made a video mocking Gordon after surgery.
Paddy is still recovering from the surgery he underwent earlier this year. He hopes to fight by the end of the year and possibly rematch Gordon to shut down the haters.
