Recently, a video of a BJJ match went viral on social media due to an impressive D’arce choke maneuver from one of the fighters.

In the video, a fighter in a blue torso competed against a fighter in a black torso. The video began with the blue torso fighter in the guard of the black torso fighter. As the black torso fighter elevated the blue torso fighter with his knees, the blue torso fighter jumped over the black torso fighter. Suddenly, he jumped from the mount, grabbed the neck, and sank in a D’arce choke. After some moments, the referee stopped the fight as the fighter in black torse lost consciousness.

Many fighters in the UFC are experts at implementing the D’arce choke. Moreover, many high-profile fights ended via D’arce choke. Tony Ferguson submitted Edson Barboza with the choke. Moreover, The Korean Zombie had submitted Dustin Poirier with the choke. Furthermore, Jorge Masvidal had submitted Michael Chiesa with the choke.
