Gordon Ryan is a No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu icon. He is facing a difficult situation since someone stole his truck. He took to Instagram to notify his followers of it and announced a $5000 reward for anyone who gave information regarding it. Also, he looked emotional regarding the matter. Still, he didn’t hold back from taking a sly jibe at current US President Joe Biden.

In his video, Gordon Ryan started off by stating, “Here in Joe Biden’s America,” taking a hit at the US President. Then, he revealed his TRX truck was stolen last night along with his neighbor’s valuables from their cars. Here is what he said:

Someone just stole my fu****g TRX out of the driveway last night at 3:30am. They also stole a bunch of stuff from other people's cars, guns and stuff like that. I had couple of John's knife's in there, probably a thousand rounds of ammunition...We're offering a $5000 reward for anyone who could point me to this truck.

Further in the video, Gordon Ryan promised the reward amount to anyone who just gave a piece of information about the truck. He looked emotional and almost broke down at a point. But, he controlled his emotions and stated one could recognize his trunk from others with the headache rack on it. He said it was from a company called ‘BackRack’ and was distinguishable.

Despite being young, Gordon Ryan faced many health issues in the recent past. As such, he disclosed suffering from lingering stomach issues from 2019. Also, last year, he had a severe throat infection, which resulted in a catastrophic situation for the BJJ athlete. So, he took a long break from competing, and his return date remained uncertain.

Gordon Ryan flourished as one of the greats in the grappling world, putting up a 15-match winning streak. However, he had to step out of the competition to address the lingering issues he had with his stomach. As such, he hasn’t stepped foot on the mats since December 2022. Ryan posted an image of him on Instagram and unveiled an update on his physical condition.

In the captions of the post, Gordon Ryan wrote he was completely bedridden for the past month due to his gastrointestinal issues. Also, his condition restricted him from eating to exercising. Finally, after numerous hurdles, the grappler hit a heavy workout last week. As such, Gordan Ryan flexed his biceps and flaunted his muscles in pride. He also boasted of his muscle mass despite sickness. Check out his Instagram post below:

Gordon Ryan looked confident in returning to the sport he loved and embraced the struggle. He last competed against Nick Rodriguez in a UFC Fight Pass Invitational event in December 2022. Later, he was scheduled to face Felipe Pena but couldn’t make it to the bout due to health issues. Since then, he has stayed out of competition.
