MMA is the fastest-growing sport in the world. It is also one of the most dangerous ones. Mainstream MMA fights have not caused deaths like boxing but have caused brutal injuries, even in training. Recently, Irish MMA fighter Ryan Curtis injured his spine in practice and will not be able to compete again. UFC fighters like Conor McGregor, Anderson Silva, and Chris Weidman have broken their respective leg inside the octagon.

Recently, a video went viral of an unfortunate leg break on social media. It was during the second round of a local MMA fight. In the video, a fighter in white shorts picked up a fighter in blue shorts and tried to slam him on the canvas. However, the fighter in blue shorts tried not to fall by posting his leg. Unfortunately, the leg broke as it could not contain the stress. The leg of the blue shorts fighter snapped and the sound was very loud of the snap. The Bone popped out of the fighter’s knee.

Nonetheless, the white shorts fighter was oblivious to it. The referee stepped in when the white shorts fighter told him about it. After the referee stopped the fight, the white shirt fighter immediately apologized to his opponent. Moreover, he looked devastated by the incident as he walked inside the cage with his hands on his head.

The white shorts fighter was Jaime Mora Munoz, and the blue shorts fighter was Dylan Reischman. Munoz and Reischman fought on the Combate Global: Ferreira vs. Morales fight card in the first fight of the event. It was Reischman’s professional MMA debut and the second fight for Munoz. The fight happened in September of 2023 in the featherweight division.

Dylan Reischman will never forget his MMA debut, nor will the MMA fans. Reischman lost his MMA debut in the worst way possible as he snapped his leg in half in his fight against Jaime Mora Munoz. The video of the incident has spread like wildfire recently.

Fans were shocked upon witnessing the incident. Reischman will likely have to wait for more than a year to recover from the leg break fully. On the other hand, Munoz has also not fought since the victory over Reischman.
