Fans roasted Dillon Danis after the jiu-jitsu practitioner’s social media flirtation with Sommer Ray. The Ex- Bellator star recently fought influencer-boxer Logan Paul, and lost via disqualification. The match was under the banner of DAZN – PRIME Card, Misfits boxing. Danis, upon being dominated throughout, had attempted a leg drag-down. A move highly illegal in boxing. Leading up to it, Danis had been hyping up the match a lot.
But now, the BJJ sensation is catching flak for his online presence. Social Media sensation Ray recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to post insights on a generic dating life model and eating with a partner. To which Danis flirtatiously replied that he loves to eat. She had written:
I think one of only perks of having a bf is having someone to eat with.. I need some relationship weight gain in my life
The sentiment, though harmless, has caught much fan attention. The commonality in perspective now is that Danis is a “keyboard warrior” and has no real fighting mettle. One prominent reaction alluded to his loss to Paul and said:
We can tell you was eating a lot of lefts and rights from Logan, you must have been starving...
Ray is an American fitness model and a star on social media. She was also a competitive youth bodybuilder. Recently, the fighter commented on one of her recent posts about re-evaluating self-worth. He received a similar treatment from fans.

On October 14, Dillon Danis returned to fighting status in a boxing bout against Logan Paul. He lost the fight via disqualification. Since then, he’s been on hiatus, but he’s continued his social media shenanigans and callouts. He has also initiated multiple flirtations with Sommer Ray. Fans of the MMA community have reacted to it, once again.
Danis has accumulated quite some reactions with his latest online presence and antics. The fans are of the view that he is a keyboard warrior and not much else. Leading up to the fight, Danis had trolled Paul, and his fiancé Nina Agdal, making this a hyped grudge match.
He had won over many hearts with his witty antics and comebacks. Now, however, things have taken a drastic turnover.
Recently, the MMA star has wished to join UFC next. He has opted for free agency very recently. But CEO Dana White has remained unafflicted by the proposition overall. The Ex-Bellator stars’ next venture and future in MMA is yet to unfold.
