Rodtang “The Iron Man” has become one of the fighters fans love to watch and his opponents fear to face. He currently competes in One Championship and is the One Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion. He has been competing in Muay Thai championships since the age of 8 and over time developed to become an absolute beast. In his second fight against Jonathan Haggerty, Rodtang can be seen effortlessly countering and dodging his opponent. This fluency in fighting made fans go crazy after watching the fight.
Rodtang in ONE championship has become the epitome of Muay Thai. Apart from his powerful strikes and great technique, Iron Man is also known for the punishment he can take. He constantly keeps on proving why he is called the Iron Man in ONE. Even UFC commentator Joe Rogan could not stop admiring his ability to take punishment. During his second fight with Jonathan Haggerty, Rodtang can be seen dominating his opponent and pulling high IQ moves to show he’s the best.
In a recently surfaced video by ONE Championship’s official Instagram account, Rodtang can be seen skillfully dodging a sweep. The video was from the second fight between Rodtang and Jonathan Haggerty. Haggerty caught Rodtang’s kick to the body and tried to sweep his other leg off the ground. However, Rodtang in an amazing fashion, managed to jump over the sweep and avoided falling to the canvas.
The video of Rodtang has since gone viral and taken fans by surprise. Many appreciate his flawless technique and quick decision-making. Rodtang will be soon defending his title against Edgar Tabares at ONE Fight Night 10.
Fans react to Rodtang’s high IQ move during the fight
In a recent viral video, ONE Muay Thai Flyweight World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon can be seen pulling off Ninja-like moves. The footage is from his second fight against Jonathan Haggerty. Rodtang overwhelmed Haggerty with his powerful strikes and smooth dodges. Fans went crazy after watching Iron Man’s performance in the second fight.
A fan commented, “This is Fight IQ and fight Skill at peak,” after witnessing the clip from ONE’s Instagram account. Others called him one of the best and praised his calmness during the fight. Over his years competing in the ONE Championship, Rodtang has proved that he can take heavy punishment and give it two folds to the opponent.
Rodtang also fought former UFC flyweight champion and current ONE flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson in a special rules bout. The special-rules bout was a mixed-rules bout featuring alternating rounds of Muay Thai and MMA. Johnson struggled against Rodtang in the first round due to his prowess. However, the mighty mouse was able to end it with the submission in the second round itself.
