Punching can happen in any sport. Witnessing the punches does not necessarily have to be in a combat sport. The athletes compete with focus and pride, which could backfire in a heated moment. It is what happened when Jose Ramirez went head-to-head with Tim Anderson during an MLB match. The MLB match on Saturday featured Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians, containing a boxing sequence between Ramirez and Anderson that led to a brawl.

The sequence happened in the sixth innings when Ramirez slid under Anderson into the second base. The duo had some exchanges but did not sit well with each other as they immediately went into a boxing stance. Both swung hard to land the knockout punch, but Ramirez came out on top after dropping Anderson with a right hook. Surprisingly, it happened on the same night as the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz boxing event.
