Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is a tough man to impress. However, Adesanya could not hold himself back from praising Demetrious Johnson as he secured another spectacular win. Johnson defended the ONE championship title in Colorado against Adriano Moraes.

UFC legend Demetrious Johnson once again demonstrated why he reigns supreme in cage fighting. “Mighty Mouse” picked Moraes apart for five rounds to emerge as the trilogy winner. Johnson defended the belt via unanimous decision. Israel Adesanya kept a close eye on the title fight and praised Johnson on Twitter.

MMA analysts and fight fans consider Demetrious Johnson to be one of the best mixed martial artists ever to step foot in the octagon. Johnson was the inaugural flyweight championship title holder and defended the title for six straight years. In 2018, UFC traded him to ONE Fighting Championship for Ben Askren.

After leaving the UFC in 2018, the American fighter went on to dominate in the ONE Fighting Championship. The 36-year-old MMA fighter only lost to Moraes in his stint at ONE. However, since the loss, Johnson knocked Moraes out in their second bout and outclassed him in the trilogy bout. It remains to be seen if anyone can trouble Johnson at Asia’s biggest martial arts company.

UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya took to Twitter to praise the legendary flyweight champion. Adesanya wrote, “A true master of the arts. Blessed to have witnessed him from the blue cage to the big stage!! Closing the show in spectacular fashion…or not lol. The All Mighty Mouse!!”. Fans also joined Adesanya in celebrating the victory. Like the Nigirian-born fighter, fans did not shy away from praising Mighty Mouse’s dominance in the MMA world. It has already been more than four years since DJ left the UFC, but fans still tune in to support the legendary fighter.
