Junior dos Santos is a mixed martial arts legend who has competed for over a decade. He has many accolades to his name. The 40-year-old fighter just added another championship to his name. He won his fight against Alan Belcher at Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 7 to capture the promotion’s inaugural heavyweight title. After going toe to toe with Alan Belcher, Junior dos Santos found a thunderous shot in the second round. It put Belcher down on his back, and a few more vicious punches sealed the deal for the Brazillian. Covered in blood, the Gamebred FC champion inched toward the camera and signed silence. Then, he proceeded to rub some blood on the camera’s lens.

Despite being 40 years of age, Junior dos Santos looked extremely fit. However, he faced his fair share of criticism following his losses in the UFC and injury at Eagle FC. As such, he silenced the doubters with his performance at Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 7.

Junior dos Santos was a former UFC champion. He left the promotion in 2020 after losing his fight to Ciryl Gane. After a two-year hiatus, he returned to fighting in 2022 at Eagle FC 47, where he suffered a shoulder injury. Coming off it, he beat his former rival Fabricio Werdum in Bareknuckle MMA and now won the inaugural Gamebred FC heavyweight title by defeating Alan Belcher.
