PFL’s 2022 season is off and going, and the biggest star in the promotion right now is making her seasonal debut. Kayla Harrison has recently re-signed with PFL and will fight against Marina Mokhnatkina on May 6, 2022.

Kayla recently stayed with PFL after receiving offers from Bellator and UFC. Bellator offered her a very lucrative deal earlier this year, but PFL matched the offer and Kayla decided she was going to stick with what she knew and signed with PFL. Kayla currently has an undefeated record in MMA and she seeks to maintain that status.

Harrison made her MMA debut at PFL 2 on in 2018, against Brittney Elkin in the Women’s Lightweight division. She won via submission because of an armbar in the first round and since then, Kayla has been undefeated in PFL.

In a recent interview, Kayla revealed she has done enough in her career and she has achieved everything there is to achieve she said that she is doing this only because she wants to know how well she can be. Kayla said, “I’ve done enough. I do this now because I want to push the envelope. I want to see how high I can climb. I want to see how good I can be.”

Kayla Harrison is one of the most dominating female fighters on the planet. Kayla has won almost everything there is to win. She has 2 Olympic golds in the year 2012 and 2016. Kayla also won the 2010 world Judo championship and along with this, she has two gold at Pan American Games.

Kayla Harrison will stay with the PFL for the foreseeable future. However, that was not necessarily supposed to happen. The two-time Olympic gold medalist Kayla Harrison got offers from both Bellator and UFC, but in the end, she choose to stay in the PFL.

In a recent interview ahead of PFL 3 2022, Kayla Revealed she signed a contract with Bellator and she was about to fight Cris Cyborg on April 22nd in Hawaii.

Kayla said, “I think it’s funny that she knew our fight wasn’t going to happen because I accepted a contract with Bellator to fight her on April 22 in Hawaii and the PFL matched the offer.”

Kayla also talked about exploring other offers from different promotions. According to her, she wanted to test herself against the best but PFL had a right to match. PFL matched Bellator’s offer which made Kayla Stay in the promotion. Kayla said, “There were no negative things toward the PFL. I’ve just made it very clear that I want to test myself against the best while they’re the best. PFL had the right to match, they did. I’m super happy with the contract. I’m super happy to be back home.”
