Influencer boxers and social media combatants are eating on a silver platter right now, despite varying public perceptions. There’s pugilist Jake Paul who gets to face boxing’s consensus heavyweight G.O.A.T Mike Tyson. In a historic first, this one airs Live on Netflix, rather than a DAZN Exclusive streaming. KSI concurrently has an AmazonTV deal, much like the rival. And Logan Paul is setting up for Apple TV+. Or is he?
In the latest sitdown, Logan Paul and journo Graham Bensinger were to promote the “5 Months with Logan Paul,” documentary. However, he lambasted the long-form interviewer/entrepreneur for airing it on his official YouTube channel instead of the Apple TV+ streaming platform. Paul’s “INFAMOUS” Apple TV+ documentary already chronicles his raw journey.
Hence, expectant for a more comprehensive deal, here’s what Paul said to TMZ:
It led to me opening up on Graham’s documentary because I thought he had my best interests in line, because I trusted this guy to do a profile on my life. I let him in for five months under the pretense that it was gonna be a show on Apple TV, and yesterday it airs on his YouTube channel...opened up to you. I was vulnerable. I let you into my house on Christmas, because I thought the show would go onto Apple...Logan Paul to TMZ
The boxer-turned-wrestler nudged the whole “experience turning sour” for him in the process. Along with brother Jake, he had opened up access to the most minute and intimate details of his life and childhood. For example, one such segment (@GrahamBensinger) is titled “Taking Logan and Jake Paul down memory lane at their childhood home.” Another issue that rattles him is the matter of his fiancee, Nina Agdal.
Last year, Paul went up against Dillon Danis (Bellator MMA fame) in The DAZN Series 10: Misfits Prime card grudge match. Danis had overtly aimed at defaming Agdal, releasing intimate snaps, with sexual innuendos. Therefore, Paul is at a sensitive turn point about opening up to public scrutiny with Agdal in tow. However, Bensinger had his own reasons to list.
The Logan Paul-Graham Bensinger streaming feud: What transpired? What did the journalist say?
Influencer boxer, and now wrestler Logan Paul is not very good at hiding. Be it quippingly hiding from active participation on SmackDown. Be it hiding how he feels about stuff. Paul recently ripped sports entertainment journo, Graham Bensinger, who filmed him, his brother Logan, and his fiancee Nina Agdal for an extensive documentary.
The duo was to appear on “TMZ Live“, but Logan Paul went on a verbal tirade about him releasing it as the ” In Depth With Graham Bensinger” segment on YouTube. Lining up with the “bring your receipts” or the “proof or it didn’t happen” trend, Paul came prepared and held up printed copies of several emails with Bensinger’s PR team.
Paul and peer KSI’s collaboration venture – “PRIME” hydration is now the official drink of the Los Angeles Lakers. They have also struck a deal with WWE recently. 9-1 (6KOs) influencer-boxer Jake and ‘Iron Mike’ meet at the famed AT&T Stadium. With $250 billion worth of streaming platform Netflix airing it, much is at stake. Under Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) stipulations, the bout can still be canceled.
Hence the brothers have a lot of inner workings going on even in downtime, which Paul gave access to during his documentary; now he feels vulnerable. Specially, given his fiance was recently under fire. Bensinger later claimed he notified Paul’s manager 3 months ago that the Apple TV+ deal had fallen apart; however, there is no end in sight for this recent feud.
