Mike Perry has earned the title of  “King of Violence” after defeating former UFC champion Eddie Alvarez on Saturday. The two locked horns at the BKFC 56 headliner, where Perry rampaged the opponent with a brutal onslaught, thus earning his title rightfully. But the 4-0 fighter is on a brutal warpath, with no rest. Soon after, he made a subsequent callout to Conor McGregor.

This is not the only secluded time that the fighter has done so. At BKFC 41, “Platinum” had urged Conor McGregor into the ring for a faceoff. This was after securing a win against Luke Rockhold. After a fast-paced matchup, Perry made the callout at the post-fight presser. He said:

Conor McGregor would be a great matchup. I just beat somebody he fought for a world title. Who’s bigger than that, though? There’s nobody bigger than Conor McGregor except me.

With wins over Julian Lane, Michael Page, Rockhold, and now Alvarez, Perry is now 4-0 in the BKFC. Since he departed from the UFC in 2021, Perry has been the face of the BKFC as a mainstay. Consequently, this is the second opponent that put an end to a fight, submitting to his ruthlessness.

The president of the BKFC, David Feldman, has said that it would be a “dream” for McGregor to fight at the BKFC. With Perry’s callout, it goes unquestionably a step further.

Eddie “The Underground King” Alvarez saw defeat at the hands of Mike Perry on Saturday, in the second round. With the win, the bare-knuckle phenom Perry thus has the moniker of “King of Violence.” This marks the second occasion when one of Perry’s opponents has put for a corner stoppage, after his brutal strikes.

Alvarez was quite battered, with his left eye nearly swollen shut in addition to a deep cut on his eyelid. After the end of the 2nd round, Alvarez conversed with his corner as he lost vision out of his swollen left eye. As such, Alvarez’s corner decided to put an end to the fight. Later, at the post-fight conference, the fighter commended the “battle axe” Perry.

Furthermore, with the win, Perry is already out hunting for a new prospective opponent.
