He displayed brutal violence and thrived in the bloodshed showcase of bare-knuckle fighting. As such, ‘Platinum’ recently revealed getting invites from the Royal families across the globe to fight in front of them.
Mike Perry in his recent appearance on the ‘Overdogs’ podcast, made a phone call to UFC CBO Hunter Campbell. At first, Mike Perry made the call to Hunter Campbell to call his shot to be part of the historical UFC 300. He proposed Nate Diaz as his opponent and immediately opened his proposition. However, Campbell dismissed it. But, he took the time to acknowledge ‘Platinum’ on his success and hailed him as he was born for bare-knuckle fighting.
Mike Perry recently won his fight against Eddie Alvarez in BKFC 56. With this win, he earned the BKFC ‘King of Violence’ title which resembled the UFC’s BMF title. As of now, Perry stood undefeated in BKFC, having impressive wins over Michael Page, Luke Rockhold, and Alvarez.
Mike Perry claims to stay unretired forever
After a turbulent career in the UFC, Mike Perry found his grove in bare-knuckle fighting. As such, he went undefeated in BKFC with a record of 4-0. In 2023, he defeated two former UFC champions, Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez. This earned him the ‘Fighter of the Year’ award from the MMA legend Demetriosu Johnson. Now, he joined Johnson for an interview and discussed his career a lot.
In the interview, Demetriosu Johnson questioned Perry on his retirement and asked whether he would miss the world of fighting. To his surprise, ‘Platinum’ outrageously stated he would never retire. As such, he envisioned himself being old and still fighting. This explained his passion and love for the violent sport of fighting.
