An old man knocking out a younger fan in a video resembled that of Alex Periera knocking out Sean Strickland at UFC 276. With the growing popularity of MMA, street fighters are now using technique over aggression. In a viral video, the cocky younger man got what he deserved in a street fight.

“Cr*zy Clips” posted the viral video on X. In the video, a leaner, taller man taunted a short old man. After several insults, the smaller man threw a quick right hook that flatlined the younger man. The smaller gentleman followed up with quick short right and left hooks. The video showed the younger man almost knocked out and had his equilibrium off. Comments beneath the page are overwhelmingly roasting the younger man. One fan aptly commented, “Humbled real quick. Respect your elders bro!!”

One interesting thing is that the left hook of Alex Periera presently enamors the MMA community. It is one of the deadliest punches in all of combat sports. The popularity of “Poatan’s” left hook has transcended the sport. One reason for its popularity was because he beat Israel Adesanya twice with it. Maybe casual fans might have been training the left hook as the first line of self-defense.

Alex Periera and Israel Adesanya have fought twice in the UFC. Periera defeated Adesanya to become the middleweight champion at UFC 281. Adesanya returned the favor to reclaim the title at UFC 287. Sean Strickland recently took the title from “The Last Stylebender” at UFC 293. In the co-main event of UFC 295, Jiri Prochazka faces off against Alex Pereira.

Fans react to an old man using a left hook to knock a younger opponent in a street fight reminiscent of Alex Periera at UFC 279

Alex Periera knocked out Sean Strickland in the very first round of their bout at UFC 279. Strickland was trolled for not using his grappling against the credentialled striker. It should be noted that the street fighting video showed the younger fighter losing his equilibrium, similar to what Strickland experienced after getting punched by Pereira.
