LFA’s An Ho has made a penchant for creating highlights through the regional scene that may echo in MMA highlight reels for eternity. The 5-0 amateur has successfully made his transition to professional MMA and in his second bout at LFA 135, managed to replicate the same sparks as at his pro debut.
Ho was scheduled to face Matt Barro, of the Warrior Fitness Center at LFA 135. Barro, who hails from Colorado USA is a 0-2 MMA pro who came in as the heavy underdog against Ho at their clash. An Ho, who hails from Vietnam, fights out of the MMA Lab based in Phoenix, Arizona and has been often touted as one of the most promising flyweight prospects out of the gym.
Scheduled for 2, 5-minute rounds, Barro was expected to be a tedious challenge for the 21-year-old who had recently turned pro, however, all that came crashing down at the hands of Ho (more precisely his legs) when he put on a highlight reel of a performance that would make Jorge Masvidal tip his hat.

An Ho gains his second TKO Victory at LFA 135

Barro would be the first to throw a strike, swinging a body kick that An Ho calmly slides out of. As Ho goes for a front kick, Barro initiates the clinch that Ho is able to get out of momentarily. Ho would go on to feint leg kicks, that gave Barro the confidence to swing with his hooks. Falling just out of range with his first attempted straight left, Barro would then swing a wild right hook, that Ho would shuffle out of and land a heavy kick to the face of Barro sending him flying back to the canvas.
Within 14 seconds of the very first round, the fight was over, with the 21-year-old heavy favorite walking out without a scratch. Ho would land one additional strike on the lifeless body of Barro after which the referee would step in to stop it. This is the second straight KO of victory of An Ho’s 2 fight professional career. Currently, he is ranked as the #4 ranked flyweight out of Arizona while also being the 113th best out of the United States. These rankings will surely reflect his performance at LFA 135 in the coming weeks.
