Cris Cyborg is working hard with former two-division UFC champ, Henry Cejudo. The Bellator featherweight champion is looking to get locked in for her potential rivalry super fight with Kayla Harrison.
The women’s Bellator champion has decided to collaborate with Henry Cejudo, the former two-division UFC champion. Despite not fightig professionally, Cejudo has transitioned into a coach and has taken a lot of elite fighters under his wing. Jon Jones, Zhang Weili, Deiveson Figueiredo, and now Cris Cyborg, to name a few.
Cris currently is eyeing a super fight against Olympic medal-winning Judoka, two-time PFL champion, Kayla Harrison. The two have continously engaged in online wars and Cejudo is now thrown into the mix. In the recent training footage, Cyborg is seen hitting the pads as Cejudo continues to encourage her. Cyborg also wrote that she is “Leveling Up” in her post on social media with Cejudo.
Kayla Harrison says Henry Cejudo can’t help Cris Cyborg beat her
Both Kayla and Cris are undeniably two of the best women fighters in the world. Harrison is looking to become the highest paid female combat sports athlete and has several offers from Bellator and PFL. She is arguably the best free agent in the MMA world right now.
Harrison and Cyborg have been going at each other for quite some time now and the pictue of Cyborg and Cejudo sure did get a reaction out of the two-time PFL champion. Henry and Kayla already have a friendly banter among them debating who the bigger combat sports athlete is. In response to Cyborg’s tweet, Harrison wrote, “He cant save you. One gold medal havin ass.”
Cyborg is coming off a win against Sinead Kavanagh at Bellator 271 and is now scheduled to fight another former UFC champion Cat Zingano for her next title defense. However, the real interest and hype lies in seeing if the Kayla Harrison vs Cris Cyborg fight comes to reality. Who do you think would win in that fight?
