As we are only three races into the 2022 F1 season, and Charles Leclerc is already a clear favorite amongst the fans for winning the World Championship, F1’s two-wheeled counterpart, MotoGP, has also got a frontrunner–Fabio Quartararo. In a recent video posted as an Instagram Story by none other than Quartararo himself, we can see him fool around and have some fun as he came across as an ad with Norris’ face on it!

McLaren driver and young prodigy Lando Norris has got a great connection with the MotoGP world. On his YouTube channel, Lando posted a video in 2020 titled “Meeting My Hero” where he fanboyed over Valentino Rossi, arguably the greatest MotoGP rider ever. The video has got over 2 million views now. And in Quartararo’s newest story update, we can see that Lando is friends with the MotoGP frontrunner too.

The past weekend marked a disappointing race for the French El Diablo because he could only go up to the seventh spot in the tables. After racing in the Circuit of the Americas, they went to the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta, USA. There, Fabio Quartararo came across an ad by the famous international brand TLM with Lando Norris’ face on it.

The 22-year-old Fabio Quartararo quickly went over to the poster and tried feeding Lando Norris’ picture with his spoon. As he did it, his friends burst out laughing and one of them captured the video. Later, he reposted his friends story, tagging Norris’ name. On seeing that, Lando reposted his buddy Fabio Quartararo’s story on his own wall.

Time and again, the dynamics between the drivers of F1 and the riders of MotoGP have been an example of camaraderie between them. But Lando and Quartararo stand at two very different points when it comes to racing. Lando’s team, McLaren has possibly cracked the code for their car speed and now they are back as a competitive team. Fabio Quartararo’s team Yamaha could not give him a suitable car to go up against rivals like Bastianini in COTA.
