“It’s the same style!” Toprak Razgatlioglu draws parallel with Marc Marquez following a miraculous save
Toprak Razgatlioglu
We know how injuries and crashes have become synonymous with Marc Marquez in the recent past but apart from that, we have also seen a lot of mind-boggling saves from the six-time Moto GP world champion. The Spaniard has had to fight off a lot of injuries to continue his journey in Moto GP this year around. It’s been a string of injuries including that horrific one in Indonesia which triggered his double vision problems.
But, as we have seen in his previous season, the six-time world champion has never been short of determination and shy of trying. Despite all of his injuries, he recently expressed his desire to win his seventh world championship, putting him level with the Doctor, Valentino Rossi. But, unfortunately, he hasn’t had the pace on his Honda to compete with the likes of Enea Bastianini and Fabio Quartararo.
Fortunately for him, we are just 6 rounds into a pretty long season. The Spaniard has not been able to come to grips with the new Honda and find the right balance between the changes in his bike and his unique riding style. We saw him have a massive moment at his home Grand Prix in Spain but he was somehow able to stay on the bike and finish P4 after his battle with Jack Miller.

Toprak Razgatlioglu takes a leaf out of Marc Marquez’s book after an unbelievable save
It seems like World SBK rider, Toprak Razgatlioglu, has taken a leaf out of Marquez’s book as he pulled off a save of his own. After a recent race, he said, “Always in Turkey at Kenan’s [Sofuoglu] track we are training. Sometimes we lose the front.”
“This time it was not easy because of the heavy bike, but I’m very lucky and happy for this [‘save’] because I didn’t crash and second position, a podium, we took good points, so I’m happy for this.“
“I’m always watching Marc Marquez, it’s the same style! I remember 2020 at Jerez, I tried to pick up the bike but I couldn’t, so I had a small crash. However, today I said, ‘I need to pick it up!’ because I’m fighting!” as reported by crash.
This error might have cost the reigning world SBK champion, Toprak Razgatlioglu, the win but he showed what unbelievable things he can do on the race track.
