Marc Marquez problems doesn’t seem to stop and his attitude to come back with that fighting spirit also doesn’t seem to end. The six time world champion has had a string of injuries which has even put his career on the line and also threatened to give vision problems which could last his whole life. But, fortunately he has been able to come back to the sport he is so passionate about.

Things were looking good after he made his comeback and looked pretty comfortable on the new Respol Honda in pre season. But what we have learnt is that pre season is different from a race when the pressure is different. Honda has went through a massive overhaul with their bike to make it user friendly. Pol Espargaro has been much able to adapt to it quicker than Marc Marquez as he secured his first podium of the season.

Marc Marquez doesn’t seem to be confident on the bike as he suffered a minor crash in Sunday’s warm-up. Although he finished fifth in the first Grand Prix of the season and was in contention for a podium finish all throughout the race but he didn’t look his usual dominant self that we are used to seeing throughout his career. This might not be that big a concern as he is coming back from a injury.

Marc Marquez did mention some of the doubts he had in recent interview. He said, “I mean the confidence with the front is not the highest one at the moment, and there I am struggling a bit more to understand.”

“But in the race when you don’t have confidence you can’t believe like you want, and plus this morning I had this small crash, so I had those doubts. And here in Qatar, historically for me always I struggle with the front tyre.”

“Today was not different, but it was the same tyre as the others. But even like this, suffering a lot, and managing the situation we finished fifth, four seconds behind the first guy.” As reported by motorsport.

This is just the start of the season. Keeping in mind that Marc Marquez is returning from a major injury and still being able to finsih fifth can be some positives that Honda can take from the race. Marc Maruquez is primed to get better.
